2023-2024 Transfer Student Application
To be completed for:
- students living outside Northwestern district applying for admission
- students moving from Northwestern district applying for continued enrollment
- students living within district applying for intra-district transfer (ex. NES to HES or HES to NES)
To be considered as a Transfer Student at Northwestern School Corporation, if space is available, you must:
- Complete and submit application to attend Northwestern by established deadline.
  - Applications must be received between February 1- April 1, 2023 in order to be considered for approval at the April 2023 school board meeting.
  - All applications must be submitted online.
  - Required documents include the student's birth certificate and current health/immunization records. Any additional documents including attendance records, proof of custody, school transcripts, special education reports (most recent IEP & case conference report), and discipline records need to be included if applicable. You can attach the documents below.
  - Applications without the required documents (birth certificate and health/immunization records) or any other pertinent documents will not be considered.
- Student has not been suspended or expelled 10 days or more or had discipline problems involving drugs or weapons in the previous school year.
- Transportation will be the responsibility of the parent unless notified by the transportation department, including intra-district transfers.
